📱 Installing the Admin App

Your Kurb admin panel works as a home screen app on iPhone and Android — no App Store required. Once installed, it opens fullscreen like a native app and can send you a push notification the moment a new offer comes in.

Important: When your browser offers a choice, tap Install — not "Add to Home Screen shortcut." Installing as a proper app is what gives you the fullscreen experience and enables push notifications. A shortcut just opens a browser tab.

Android — Chrome

  1. Open kurbsale.com/yourname/admin in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen → then tap Install on the prompt that appears
  4. Launch the app from your home screen
  5. Go to Settings → Notifications and tap Enable push notifications

Android — Microsoft Edge

  1. Open kurbsale.com/yourname/admin in Edge
  2. Tap the three-dot menu at the bottom center of the screen
  3. Tap Add to phone → then tap Install on the prompt that appears
  4. Launch the app from your home screen
  5. Go to Settings → Notifications and tap Enable push notifications

iPhone / iPad — Safari

  1. Open kurbsale.com/yourname/admin in Safari — it must be Safari, not Chrome or Edge
  2. Tap the Share button (the box-with-arrow icon at the bottom of the screen)
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add
  4. Launch from your home screen before enabling notifications — iOS requires this first
  5. Go to Settings → Notifications and tap Enable push notifications

After installing and opening the app from your home screen:

  1. Tap Settings in the top navigation
  2. Select the Notifications tab
  3. Tap Enable push notifications and accept the permission prompt

You'll receive a notification the moment a buyer submits an offer. You can test it immediately with the Send test notification button.

Note: Push notifications are not supported on iPhone if you use Chrome or Edge on iOS — you must install from Safari. On Android, both Chrome and Edge work.

Buyers don't need to install anything. This is only for your admin panel. Buyers browse your storefront in their regular browser.
